Cashew crusted cauliflower steaks with black lentil dahl and tahini drizzle 🥬🥦🌱 last nights dins which I forgot to upload ooopsies ✌🏼 the cauliflower steaks were the BOMB and the dahl is the quickest thing to make (ready in 15 mins using @merchantgourmet !) and is so comforting – message me for dahl recipe 🥰 cauliflower steak recipe below 👇🏼
🥬 cashew crusted cauliflower steaks 🥬 serves 2
• 1 cauliflower, cut into steaks (with stem as this holds them together) • 90g cashews • 15g cornflour • 120ml almond milk • juice of 1 lemon • 1tsp smoked paprika •
– blitz your cashews, cornflour, paprika with 1/2tsp salt in a blender and set aside in a shallow bowl
– steam your cauliflower steaks for 3 mins till slightly soft
– make your buttermilk by whisking together the almond milk and lemon juice
– dip your cauliflower steaks into the almond milk then place in the shallow bowl and coat in the cashew crust, repeat for each one and place in baking paper
– place the baking sheet in the oven (fan setting at 210 degrees) for 25-35 mins
– drizzle with tahini or hummus and serve 😍
