Green miso noodles with pan fried silken tofu 🤤🍜🥬 I got this super creamy noodle recipe from the @deliciouslyella app & took inspo for the silken tofu I had leftover from @theegyptianplanteater silken tofu salad 🥗 have never fried silken tofu before as it’s so delicate but if you get it right it’s so so yum!!!
🥬 green miso noodle recipe 🥬 serves 1
For the sauce: • 20g cashews (soaked in hot water for 10 mins) • 20g sunflower seeds • 10g coriander leaves • 1/2tbsp miso paste • 50ml almond milk • juice of half a lime • 1 roasted garlic clove • pinch of salt •
For the noodles: 1 noodle nest (I used rice noodles) • 1tsp sesame seeds • 100g edamame beans • 3 spring onions, chopped • handful of spinach •
– simply blitz sauce in a blender and set aside
– meanwhile cook noodles according to pack with the frozen edamame beans
– drain and place back in the pan with the sauce and all the other ingredients, stir (add more milk if looks dry) and serve 🥢
🌟 for the silken tofu, I gently sliced, sprinkled with turmeric, smoked paprika, salt and cornflour then heated a pan with a good glut of oil and fried till crisp on each side 🌟
