VEGANUARY FAKEAWAY MEALS DAY 5: SLOPPY JOES WITH BUFFALO ‘WINGS’ 🌭 SWEET POTATO FRIES & RANCH SALAD 🍟🥗 made the ‘wings’ out of cauliflower baked in a paprika/sriracha batter and they absolutely SLAPPED 😍 also, I used to looove frankfurters and these @movingmountainsfoods frankfurters tasted EXACTLY THE SAME like IDENTICAL – AND you don’t get freaked out when eating them as you know they’re just made from plants 🌱 what a way to end the fakeaway meals 🇺🇸🙌🏼

🌭 SLOPPY JOES RECIPE 🌭 Serves 1
1/4 medium yellow onion, diced • 1/2 bell pepper, diced • 1clove garlic, minced • dash of each chili powder, cumin, paprika • salt, to taste • 75g vegan mince (or Puy lentils) (for mince, I used @vegetarianbutcher) • 100ml veg stock • 1/2 can chopped tomatoes • 1tsp soy sauce • 1/2tsp brown sugar • 1/4tsp mustard • 1 vegan frankfurter (@movingmountainsfoods) or vegan sausage • hot dog roll • @violife_foods cheese •

– heat some oil in a pan and Sautee the onion, pepper and garlic till fragrant
– Add in all the spices and salt then add in the mince along with the veg stock, chopped tomatoes, soy, mustard and sugar
– Leave to simmer for 15 mins till the majority of the liquid has been absorbed
– Meanwhile, cook sausage or frankfurter according to pack
– Now stack up: place the sausage in the roll, load up with the sloppy joe ragu sauce and sprinkle over the vegan cheese 🧀
