VEGGIE TOAD IN THE HOLE 🌭 with mashed squash, chargrilled sprouts, roasted carrots & veggie gravy 🥕 this was INSANE and was such a hit with my fam 😍 a fab, easy festive Sunday meal (note the exciting very Christmassy backdrop hehe) 😜 used @cauldronfoods Lincolnshire sausages and OH MY GOD I thought they lit were real meat wowoowowoww

🌭 VEGETARIAN TOAD IN THE HOLE RECIPE 🌭 serves 4 was inspired by seeing @thefitlondoner hehe
• 150g plain flour • 2 eggs • 300ml milk • 8 @cauldronfoods Lincolnshire sausages • 2 red onions, sliced • Salt and pepper •

– do this as early on as possible (the longer you leave it the fluffier it will be): whisk together the flour, eggs and milk and season with plenty of salt & pepper then set aside
– meanwhile, cook the sausages for 10 – 15 mins with the onions and a small drizzle of oil in a baking tray at 200 degrees
– take the tray out of the oven and pour the batter over the top of the sausages and roast onions and bake for a further 30-40 mins at the same temperature
– take out when it’s all fluffy and crisp on the top and serve 🌭🌭🌭
